ChildrenUnited.com and TVCU (“the Platform”) are operated by Children United Global Limited, a UK registered company (“CUGL”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Our mission is to ensure every child, everywhere, can access reliable, age-appropriate news and trustworthy information, in line with Article 17 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Parents, carers and teachers may use the Platform with children. No account creation is currently required.
3. Age Guidance
The Platform is designed for children and young people aged 6–17, and for the adults who support them. We do not ask children to provide personal data and we do not offer personalised advertising.
4. Your Use of the Platform
You may:
Access and stream content for personal, educational, or classroom use.
Share links to our site (not the content files themselves).
You may not:
Copy, download, scrape, capture, or redistribute TVCU or partner content.
Circumvent or remove any security features.
Embed our videos on external sites without written permission.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, downloaders) to access the site.
Upload, transmit, or share harmful or unlawful material.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Intellectual Property
All videos, articles, images, graphics, and brand assets on the Platform are protected by copyright.
Ownership remains with those credited on end boards:
CUGL (for original content)
Our content partners (including Sky, UNICEF, WWF, The Science Museum Group, IntoFilm, etc.) for material they provide
You receive a limited, non-commercial, non-transferable right to stream content only.
6. Content Partners and Third-Party Material
We work with trusted organisations worldwide.
Their content is supplied under licence and may only appear on the Platform for periods we have agreed.
We are not responsible for:
Third-party websites we refer to
The practices of those third-party sites
The accuracy or availability of content once it leaves our platform
However, we strive to work only with reputable, child-safe organisations.
7. Accuracy and Editorial Standards
TVCU follows strict editorial guidelines to ensure accuracy, impartiality, and age-appropriate framing.
While we work hard to keep information current, we do not guarantee that:
All information will always be up to date
The platform will always operate uninterrupted or free from errors
8. Safeguarding
No user-generated comments or uploads are currently allowed.
Any future interactive features will be fully moderated and compliant with:

Age-Appropriate Design Code
Global child-safety best practice
9. Security
You must not attempt to:
Hack, attack, probe, disrupt or interfere with the Platform
Access administrative areas
Access any data relating to others
Unauthorised access is prohibited and may be reported to authorities.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CUGL is not liable for:
Losses arising from your use of the Platform
Incompatibilities, delays, or technical issues
Third-party content provided under licence
We do not exclude liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
11. Changes to the Platform
We may update, change, or remove content at any time, including when requested by content partners.
We may also update these Terms when necessary, and the updated version will always be posted here.
12. Termination
